Description
The IOT Security workshop was held on 15th February 2024 at Ganpat University, organized by GUNI DCS and the NULL Ganpat University Student Chapter. The workshop was organized by Bachelor Cyber Security students named Krish Bheda and Sagar Patel. Keynote speakers Khusi Iyer and Jiya Joshi, both B.Sc.IT(Cyber Security)-IV students, delivered insightful talks on various aspects of IoT security. They covered topics such as common vulnerabilities in IoT devices, secure development practices for IoT applications, and strategies for protecting IoT systems from cyber threats. The workshop included interactive sessions and discussions to engage participants and deepen their understanding of IoT security concepts. The workshop attracted a total of 38 participants from the Cyber Security and Computer Application programs, indicating a strong interest in the topic within the academic community. The event provided participants with an opportunity to learn about IoT security, network with peers and professionals, and gain practical skills that can be applied in their academic and professional endeavors.
