Program Details

The department of computer science has started M.Sc. (IT): 2 years program from the year 2012 to bridge the gap for the requirements of computer professionals in the industry. The program develops the computer professionals, with strong unde₹tanding of recent development tools used in computer industry and also create foundation for future research. The course is designed to provide step-by-step basic and advanced technical knowledge along with hand on experience useful in computer industry. The program develops Computer Professionals with strong fundamental knowledge; unde₹tanding of recent development tools used in computer industry, and also creates foundation for future research.

Eligibility

Passed bachelor degree examination in Computer Science/Application/Engineering/Information Technology, i.e. B.C.A., B.Sc.(Computer Science), B.Sc. (CA & IT), B.I.T.,B.E.(CE),B.E.(IT) etc. Or Any Science Graduate (Students of non-computer and non-mathematical/statistics background needs to clear bridge course syllabus for Fundamental of Mathematics) or P.G.D.C.A. or equivalent

Program Outcome

PO-I     To produce skilled workforce for IT industries and IT enabled services
PO-II Able to apply theoretical and conceptual understanding of data structures and database management systems concepts for real life application development
PO-III     To be able to manage Routing and Windows server configuration in Client Server Operating System
PO-IV Able to utilize the modern software development tools and techniques for application development practice.     
PO-V Design components in key areas of computer Application or industrial computing
PO-VI Generate solutions by experiments and applying techniques to analyze and interpret data for the computer
PO-VII Evaluate, verify, trouble-shoot, test and analyze an existing computer-based system, process, component or program.
PO-VIII Express Effective Teamwork
PO-IX Empowering the application of communication theories and incorporating best verbal and written practice into real life communication.
PO-X Able to identify the needs of different businesses and utilize management information systems, reporting tools and content management systems
PO-XI To develop students to become globally recognized and competent.
PO-XII Develop the ability to understand the basic concepts of machine learning techniques, mobile application development and software testing.
