Swati Patel, Ph.D. (pursuing), is an assistant professor at Ganpat University, Faculty of Computer Applications, Gujarat, India. Her doctoral work focuses on IoT-based smart irrigation systems.

She has more than 16 years of experience in teaching and research. She is a recipient of the President Award for Staff Excellence in Teaching and Learning category for 2022 by Ganpat University. She has conducted extensive research on IoT-based smart irrigation architecture and published research in conferences and reputed journals, including IEEE. She has extensively worked as the NAAC criteria coordinator. She has guided more than 100 students.
