Jigarkumar Dineshbhai Patel (Ph.D.(Pursuing) MCA), is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Department of Computer Science, Ganpat University, Ganpat Vidyanagar, Gujarat, India since July-2009. He Taking challenges and responsibilities and living up to them has always been his motto and He wishes to do the same after joining the organization by making the optimum use of his technique, communication skills. 

He has 15 years of experience in academic. His primary areas of interest are Mobile Technology, and Web Programming. In these academic years, he had taught the various subjects like Algorithm Development and Introduction to Programming (C), Digital Electronics, Object Oriented Concepts and programming (Core Java), System Analysis and Design, Computer Organization and Architecture, Web Programming, Software Engineering, Operation Research (OR), Database Management System, Operating system, Management Information System, System Development Project-I, System Development Project-II, Basic of Computer Networks, Introduction to data analysis and data management, Information Technology And System Maintenance, Introduction to web development-I, Introduction to web development-I, etc.

He has also played the role of administrative as Coordinator of GNU NAAC Steering Committee in NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council), external(University) exam result process committee, Sports Coordinator. Also He worked as a member in extra Co-Curriculum Activities like Time Table Committee, Student Development Activities, Syllabus Design, External Exam Paper Setter, Youth Festival activities, Convocation duty. He has also given project guidance to more than 200 students of UG and PG courses. 

He has Published 20+ research papers in reputed International Journal and UGC approved Journal. He attended various National and International FDP, STTP, Workshop and Webinar programs and also implemented them during the teaching and learning tasks. 

He has signing various MOU between AMPICS, Ganpat University and various IT based companies for the “Industry Interface Association(IIA)”. He is a member of the University NAAC Steering Committee for NAAC. He is member of International Association of Engineers(IAENG) and Indian Society For Technical Education(ISTE).

[1] I got “President Award for Staff Excellence” in the category of “Learning and Teaching” for the year of 2018 on dated 12th, January 2019 and Rs. 1,00,000 is awarded to me to exclusively avail for my further professional development.

[2] I got “President Award for Staff Excellence” in the category of “Support Services and Engagement” for the year of 2022 on dated 12th, January 2023 and Rs. 1,00,000 is awarded to me to exclusively avail for my further professional development.

[3] I got an award in the “Satrag The Unifest 2023, 36th Inter University West Zone Youth Festival” in the category of “Activeness of Digital Social Media and Marketing” for the year of 2023 on dated 14th, February 2023.

Research Project:

[1] He has successfully completed the research project titled “Customer behavior analysis and prediction for vegan food preferences” of amount Rs. 50000 sponsored by Vgungho Marketplace Ventures, Bangalore from 16 March, 2020 to 15 September.

[2] He has successfully completed the research project titled “A Comparative analysis of open source CMSs, Framework and E-Commerce platforms” of amount Rs. 40,000 sponsored by Multidots solutions Pvt. Ltd. From June 2018 To Feb 2019.
