Asha Patel  (M. Phil. , M.Sc.(CA & IT) is currently  working as an Assistant Professor at Ganpat University-Department of Computer Science, Gujarat, since June 2006. Before joining Ganpat University, she was a Lecturer at HNGU Department of Computer Science, Patan. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in the faculty of Computer Science at Ganpat University. She did her Master and Bachelor in Computer Science from HNGU, Patan.  She has 17.5 years of experience in academics. She participated in various National and International Faculty Development programs and also applied them during his teaching and learning assignments. She has published/presented more than 10 research papers in various National and International Journals/Conferences including IEEE. She has completed more than 7 certification courses from reputed platforms like Cisco, Udemy and many more. More than 250 students of UG and PG programs developed their project under the guidance of her. She has performed key roles in various administrative activities like Internal Exam Coordinator, Project coordinator in UG Program, Syllabus Designing Committee Members especially in the course of B.Sc. IT (Data Science), External Exam Assessment Centre Co-coordinator, Reports preparation committee Coordinator for preparing various reports like annual report, GC Report, Newsletter report etc., Early Bird Open House Coordinator, Time Table management Coordinator and many more activities. She is also working in the NAAC Committee at department level as a Criteria-4 Coordinator.

She has received the award for Staff Excellence in the category of “Learning and Teaching” for the year 2022 from Ganpat University. She has skills in Classroom Management and Lesson Planning and is capable of building an open and interactive environment to help students express themselves in a better way.
